Secret Spot – GREEN Nature Family House 2

HOUSE
This is a family Farm that was totally rebuilt in 2002, offering excellent conditions for short or long stays, being totally equipped. This 300 year old house is located in 10 km from Ponta Delgada in S. Miguel Island.
The estate has a 4500 sqm area and has three houses.

The Space

Small house made of local stone in the small village of S. Vicente — S. Roque. The house is decorated with simple furniture, in accordance with the environment as well as with the origin of the house. The house has a living-room with a magnificent view to the ocean and access to a terrace. Bedroom accommodation comprises one double and one twin rooms served with one bathroom, and an equipped kitchen. There is a small garden around the house.

Pico island, named for its imposing mountain, is one of the most beautiful and underrated island of the Azores. Only second to S. Miguel in size the ‘Mountain Island’ stands majestically in the middle of the Azorean central group. Pico island history was built on the destiny of is whale hunting and wineries traditions. The famous Pico wines and the UESCO world patrimony designated vineyards, as well as wooden boat building, are contemporary fixtures of Pico. Whale hunting, long gone, gave way to a movement of fair treatment study and observation of whales, dolphins, and other sea mammals. Volcanic eruptions ended 300 years ago and Pico is considered a dormant volcano. The island of Pico is 55 km long and 40km wide. It is divided into 3 municipalities, “Madalena”, “São Roque”, and “Lajes”. Pico at 2,319-metres high sits atop of the world’s biggest mountain range the Mid-Atlantic Ridge.Pico is the highest point in the Azores and Portugal.

The Acess
The orange House is located in the small village of S. Vicente, 5 Km west of S. Roque with easy access to the airport and to the boats that make connection to the other islands.

Tradicional Family & Friends House

The house have a tradicional décor pieces with 2 floors, high ceilings, plenty of lighting, large and equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms with double bed, 1 extra bed on request, 2 bathrooms, big living room with dining table, lounge space, 1 balcony and big private garden. The kitchen is totally equipped and you can prepare all your meals. There is also washing machine and dishes machine.

It is a very quiet area in Ponta Delgada city, nearby the beach, city center ans easy to get. You are only 5 minutes drive from “Praias do pupil” and from Ponta Delgada downtown. The house is at 10 minutes drive from the airport, 8 minutes drive from Ponta Delgada downtown, 5 minutes drive to the nearest beach line and well located has gateaway for the other parts of the island that you must need to go. Trafic free area, it is very easy to find and to park in the front door.

This home is ideal for your family holiday. A place where you can enjoy a relaxing environment, framed by a lush garden and pateos. This spacious house of traditional construction is only minutes from the beach area, where you can bathe in the waters of the ocean. The house has four bedrooms (30 sqm each), two bathrooms, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. As we do not want you out of touch with the world we offer a wifi network so you can comfortably access the internet. The house is not air conditioned, but the summer temperature does not rise above 26 º C. For the cold winter, is equipped with a stove that heats the home. Its proximity to the most prime locations to start the diverse nature and adventure activities such as hiking, horseback, carriage and bike. It is also possible to carry out ethnographic and cultural itineraries in order to know the customs and traditions of the local people. For those who want to move by bus, the stop is a few meters from the house with links to Ponta Delgada. Nearby are restaurants and grocery stores where you can eat or purchase food products for home cooking.

This apartment does not have private parking; however, you will find public parking within 200 meters.

Low season (1 November to 31 April): 90€/night
High season (1 May to 31 October): 100€/night

Christmas & New Year and Easter week: 100€/night | 5 nights minimum stay

Minimum stay: 4 nights

The price is valid for hole apartment. (max. 2 peolpe)

Special Discount for long stays (over 2 weeks). Weekly discount (except in Easter and New Year).
20% discount for stays longer than a month.

A deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Balance of 70% required to be paid on arrival with the delivery of the keys.

Check in after 04:00 pm and check out before 11:00 am. Other arrangements possible if no other guests are coming in / going out the same day.
